US Ambassador George Tsunis paid a visit to Health Minister Thanos Plevris and Deputy Minister Mina Gaga on Thursday.

At the ministry they discussed the collaboration of Greece-US on health issues, especially hospitals, medicine, research & development in the health sector, managing the pandemic, and challenges in the post-Covid-19 era.

Their discussion focused on bolstering the health system and on prospects of American investments in pharmaceuticals.
