The Best Airbnbs in London

Whether you’re dreaming of a three-story townhouse with a stunning roof-top garden or a one-bedroom to live out your Notting Hill fantasies, you can find your perfect spot among London’s Airbnbs. They all share the charm of the city—cozy, clean, and steps from the city’s oldest (and newest) monuments. And when it comes time to plan your stay, take a look at our London city guide, featuring the best walking toursmuseums, and restaurants to try.

As a bonus, all of these selections are run by Superhosts, who each have a rating of 4.8 or above, a record of zero cancellations, and at least a 90 percent response rate, meaning they’ll get back to you ASAP.

While we have not stayed in every Airbnb featured, unless otherwise stated, these listings are vetted based on Superhost status, amenities, location, previous guest reviews, and decor. This gallery was last published in November 2019. It has been updated with new information.

All products featured on Condé Nast Traveler are independently selected by our editors. However, when you buy something through our retail links, we may earn an affiliate commission.

It’s located on the outskirts of Shoreditch, about a 10 minute walk from the Hoxton tube station and a little bit of a trek from central London. But if you’re back for your fifth—even 10th—time, this Airbnb Plus will give you an on-the-ground look at neighborhood life in the city and access to some alternative attractions, like the Columbia Road Flower Market and Hackney City Farm. As for the actual home, you can expect to find a cozy living room, small back garden, modern kitchen, two bedrooms (one larger, one smaller), and additional amenities for children (changing table, crib, baby bath, etc.). For a small familyThis well-lit Chelsea apartment is a place you’ll be happy to stay awhile (and you can, if you so choose: the hosts allow long-term stays of over 28 days). Ideal for a small family, there are two bedrooms, both with double beds and hotel-quality linens, and two baths, one with a tub. The large, open living room is filled with plenty of books to peruse, while the kitchen has all the basics for family dinners: pots and pans, oil, salt and pepper, dishes and silverware, and a six-person dining table. It’s not a spot for first-timers, as it’s about a 40-minute bus ride to central London, but it is near plenty of shops and restaurants, including a Traveller favorite, Chicama, and Stamford Bridge, the Chelsea football stadium.$161 AT AIRBNB (STARTING PRICE)

For outdoor spaceThis quirky two-bedroom apartment belongs in our most colorful Airbnbs gallery, too, with its pastel pink Smeg fridge, pink-walled sunroom (shown above), and patterned wallpapers. Situated in a quiet neighborhood, there’s a small balcony off both bedrooms and a garden out back to get some fresh air without leaving your home base, though South Kensington museums like the Victoria and Albert and Science museums are nearby, too. You’ll have all the essentials and then some inside: The host, Robert, leaves a hospitality pack filled with bread, milk, eggs, butter, biscuits, and chocolates for guests, and the kitchen is stocked with basics like coffee, tea, sugar, oil and vinegar, and salt and pepper. To note, the second bedroom, with its two twin beds, also houses a sink and shower in the room, so guests may end up wanting to share the one larger bathroom.$602 AT AIRBNB (STARTING PRICE)
