In Greece, please drive on the RIGHT side of the road.
Speed Limits
For a standard Avis rental vehicle with no trailers:
Urban areas: 31 mph (50 km/h)
Motorways: 68 mph – 80 mph (110 km/h – 128 km/h) – depending on the speed limits of the motorway
Rural areas: 55 mph (90 km/h)
Child Safety / Seatbelt Laws
It is compulsory for all inside the vehicle to wear a seatbelt.
Children between 3 and 11 years, measuring less than 135cm must be seated in an appropriate child seat for their size.
Please note – It is the child’s parent / guardian or vehicle renter’s responsibility to fit the child seat.

Unique Country Driving Laws
License plates may be removed in cases of illegal traffic or parking, violation of road traffic rules and nonpayment of toll fees.
Your driver’s license may be removed if you talk on a mobile phone, if seat belts are not fastened, if you exceed speed limits and if you are drunk driving.
